Dyersburg State Community College has accepted the gift by Catalan artist, Jorge Enrique Cruxent and his wife Fire, (formerly Estelle Norvell, Jr. from Newbern, TN), of five of their paintings. The titles of the donated works are:

Tennessee Walk , Big Wheel, Painter's Portrait,
Mother Goose and Papa Gander
, and Demon

Excepting Demon, an acrylic painting on canvas, these works are rendered in gouache on paper. Also on permanent display with these pictures in the Tipton County Center of Dyersburg State Community College in Covington, Tennessee are seventeen other Cruxent works on paper, including five drawings. This collection of pictures was created between 1974 and 1975. Jorge Cruxent designed the compositions and Fire applied their coloration.
