The State Board of Education approved the creation of DSCC in 1967 and the first classes were offered in Dyersburg in the fall of 1969. Currently over 3,750 students are enrolled at the college at three locations through traditional classroom, on-line and hybrid course offerings. Our Fall 2011 Fact Sheet provides more information.
DSCC is so proud of its alumni! Over 7,000 students have graduated from DSCC since the college began. Anyone who has nine semester hours (or the equivalent in quarter hours) is eligible to join the DSCC Alumni Association.
