College Security

Dyersburg State Community College is committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students, faculty and staff.  The College has an emergency preparedness plan and regularly conducts tests of this plan.

DSCC employs Murray Guard to provide security for the Dyersburg Campus and the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center in Tipton County (Covington).   For emergency assistance, contact a Security Officer at 731-589-3250 (Dyersburg campus), 901-201-1344 (Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County), 731-222-5141 (Gibson County Center) or dial 911.

EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS

Get notifications of unscheduled college closings due to weather or emergency situations via text, email and voice messages through DSCC's mass notification system (RAVE).   Login to Rave to add your contact information.

Clery Act and the Annual Security Report

Dyersburg State makes crime statistic information available to the public through the Annual Security Report.

Campus Security Authorities listed in the Annual Security Report will record Clery crimes using the Clery Incident Report.
