DSCC Alert

DSCC Update - All classes and offices will operate on a delayed schedule at all DSCC locations on Thursday, November 15, 2018, due to inclement weather. 
 
Classes will begin and offices will open at 10:00 a.m. If this schedule changes, an announcement will be sent out via RAVE and the DSCC website, Facebook page, and Alert Hotline. Detailed class start times will be announced at the end of this message. Please use your best judgment as to whether it is safe to travel. Those who cannot or who foresee a significant delay should notify their instructor or immediate supervisor. When you arrive, please be extremely careful due to possible ice on the parking lots and sidewalks. Only walk on cleared paths to main building entrances. If a local high school closes due to inclement weather, any dual enrollment classes held at DSCC or at that high school will also be cancelled. 
 
All 55-minute classes, regardless of day of the week, will meet as follows:
• 8:00 a.m. classes will meet 10:00 a.m. - 10:25 a.m.
• 9:05 a.m. classes will meet 10:30 a.m. - 10:55 a.m.
• 10:10 a.m. classes will meet 11:00 a.m. - 11:25 a.m.
• 11:15 a.m. classes will meet 11:30 a.m. - 11:55 a.m.
• 12:10 p.m. and subsequent classes will meet on the regular schedule.
 
All 85-minute classes will meet as follows:
• 8:00 a.m. classes will meet 10:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m.
• 9:35 a.m. classes will meet 10:45 a.m. - 11:25 a.m.
• 11:10 a.m. classes will meet 11:30 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.
 
All other 85-minute Tuesday and Thursday classes will meet on the regular schedule. For labs - An alternate schedule for all labs beginning before 12:00 p.m. will be announced by the instructor. Remember, evening classes (4:30 p.m. or later, and classes beginning at 12:10 p.m. or later) are included in this delayed schedule. Evening classes will either be cancelled or held at the regular scheduled time.
