Main entrance of the New Academic Building
3149 Highway 51 South, Covington, TN 38019 Phone: 901/475-3100, FAX: 901/475-3131 Maps and driving directions to the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center Welcome to the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County. Situated on 102 acres, the Center presently includes two buildings. The first 33,503 squarefoot building, known as the Jimmy Naifeh Building, houses instructional classrooms, labs, a commons area, advising center, an on-site bookstore as well as the administrative offices. The Center also recently celebrated the grand opening of a 30,940 square-foot New Academic Building. The building was designed to support an additional nursing program and our Emergency Medical Technology program. It also is the home of the Peter and Gracey McNeely Fyfe Learning Resource Center equipped with 47 computers and a 244-seat auditorium. In February 2008, the State Building Commission approved planning funds for a third building. The construction is expected to start in 2009 and plans are for this building to house a student center and an expanded Learning Resource Center.
