Class Information:
Classroom instruction is for students who are comfortable learning in an independent, small or large group setting.  Classes cover such subjects as reading, writing, literature and the arts, social studies, science, math and life skills. Call 731/ 285-3020 for information.

The following times are for the Dyer County Literacy Dyersburg program site at 115 King Ave. (unless noted):

Families First
8 A.M. to noon Monday through Friday.

Adult Education
8 to 11 A.M. Monday through Friday.
1 to 3 P.M. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday and Thursday.
 
Dyer County Literacy has expanded adult education classes to local businesses.
   The following site and schedule is for a workplace class:
   3:30 to 5:30 P.M. Tuesdays and Thursday at Jimmy Dean  
 
English as a Second Language classes are available:
   6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday and Thursdays
  
An Even Start (Family Literacy) class also is available
8 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Monday through Thursday
