Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) offers athletic programs for its students and competes in men’s and women’s basketball, men’s baseball and women’s softball.  The college is a member of the Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic Association (TJCCAA).
   Students who participate in intercollegiate athletics must meet the eligibility requirements of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
    A cheerleading squad is selected by try-outs during the spring semester for the following academic year. Cheerleaders assist in many activities that promote school spirit and provide support for athletic teams.
   The president has final authority to approve standards of conduct for intercollegiate athletes in consultation with the DSCC Athletic Committee.
   In addition to our athletic teams, DSCC's office of Student Affairs sponsors a variety of intramural sports teams each year.
