Getting Started Checklist

Apply to DSCC and receive acceptance letter.
Meet admission requirements (request transcript, request ACT or SAT scores, supply immunization info, etc.).
Complete FAFSA.
Provide any documents requested by Financial Aid.
Save letter containing your DSCC Username and Password.
If needed, contact the Counseling Office for Services for Students with Disabilities.
Fill out pre-advising checklist form.
Meet with an advisor at one of the One Stop Centers to register for Smart Start Curriculum, including ORN 1010.
Sign up for and attend a FOCUS Session.
Sign up for Learning Support before the semester begins to build skills in writing, reading, and math.
Get Photo ID and parking decal.
Review Attendance Policy, SAP, & other DSCC policies.
Learn about RAVE.
Attend Open House (before your first semester) in August or January.
Pay and confirm enrollment.
Sign up for a Book Voucher and buy textbooks.
Go to class and start on your path to graduation!
