Accreditation and Affiliations: DSCC coursework transfers to all other accredited institutions of higher education. The College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Inc. (SACS COC) to award the associate degree. It is a part of the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) system. Resources and Services: The college plays an important part in the health of our area in many ways. DSCC's economic impact on Northwest Tennessee: The college has a tremendous economic impact on our area. You can read about this in the study commissioned by the college each year. Dyersburg State Community College Foundation: This non-profit corporation was established to promote and otherwise support through financial and other means, the purposes of Dyersburg State Community College. The affairs of the Foundation are managed by its Board of Directors. Advisory Committees: The members of the Dyersburg State Community College advisory committees are citizens representing professions, businesses and occupations in the service area of the College. The purpose of the committees is to assist in determining the needs of the community for college services and to make appropriate recommendations.
Support DSCC: While Dyersburg State is a part of the Tennessee Board of Regents system, the college and our students rely heavily on the generosity of donors to provide scholarships and enhance our physical plant.
