The Agricultural Business emphasis (Tennessee Transfer Pathway) is designed for students seeking education in the development of agriculture business and production agriculture and plan to continue their studies at a four-year college or university.
The Agriculture Plant and Soil Science emphasis (Tennessee Transfer Pathway) is designed for students seeking education in agriculture with an emphasis on plant and soil science who plan to continue their studies at a four-year college or university.
DSCC also offers dual admissions opportunities with several universities.
Typical jobs: The Tennessee Transfer Pathways (TTP's) are designed so that students completing the program can transfer with junior standing to an agriculture program at all public and most private institutions in the State of Tennessee.
The Agriculture Applications Certificate can be completed in one year. This certificate combines general education courses with agriculture courses. It allows students to attain a general understanding of life sciences while focusing on agriculture. This certificate is designed for individuals seeking entry-level positions in agribusiness, farming or biofuels.
Typical jobs: Pesticide Applicator, Skilled Farm Worker, and Entry Precision Agriculture positions.
