The Accounting emphasis (Tennessee Transfer Pathway) is designed to provide the student with the first two years of education necessary to complete a degree in Accounting at a four-year college or university. DSCC offers dual admission opportunities with several universities.
Typical Jobs: Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The accounting environment is changing rapidly. Tennessee law now requires candidates wishing to become certified public accountants to have 150 semester hours of college education--the equivalent of five years at a college or university.
