EMT Students In Class

The EMT-Paramedic certificate provides a student the competencies necessary to assume the role of a leader in Emergency Medical Services or Public Safety. Upon completion of this concentration, the graduate possesses the skills and abilities to function in the workforce as a Paramedic in a leadership role.


To facilitate success in this program, all students should enroll in ORN 1010 Orientation: Learning to Succeed during their first semester at DSCC.

Student must be a licensed EMT-IV in the state of Tennessee
