The musical talents of singer Lynn Fritchey and pianist Bill Kelly will be center stage on Thursday, May 24. The two will perform at Chisholm Lake Store as a part of a fundraiser to benefit the Dyersburg State Community College Dual Enrollment Scholarship fund.
“We will be doing some Broadway tunes, some Gershwin tunes, a little country and a little patriotic music,” said Fritchey.
For a minimum donation of $50 per person, guests will enjoy a steak dinner and be able to take part in a silent auction, in addition to hearing a great program of live music. The reception will start at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
The Dual Enrollment program allows eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to enroll in DSCC courses and begin earning college credit while they are still in high school. The funds raised from this event will assist in tuition expenses not covered by the Dual Enrollment Lottery funding.
Those wishing to attend must make their reservations by Monday, May 21. Please contact DSCC Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Continuing Education Youlanda Jones-Wilcox at 731/286-3346 or ywilcox@dscc.edu for more information or to make reservations.
