Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) is excited to offer a new Associate of Science degree in Advanced Integrated Industrial Technology (AIIT)!  The AIIT degree program integrates various technologies to provide a diverse skill set needed in today's advanced manufacturing and industrial sectors.  It is designed to prepare graduates for rewarding careers, career changes, and career advancement in today's high-tech industrial settings.

The goals of the AIIT program is to provide students with:

  • A safe learning environment that emphasizes good safety practices
  • A strong foundation of basic maintenance theory to improve their success in industrial work
  • Hands-on experience that utilizes up-to-date procedures with modern equipment
  • Practical application of tools and procedures used in the industrial maintenance industry

Employment Opportunities are endless!  Manufacturing is making a huge comeback in West Tennessee and companies are needing more skilled and technologically advanced employees to take these companies to the next level.  The AIIT degree helps prepare those who seek careers with large and small businesses and industries that are seeking trained industrial maintenance employees.  Graduates from the AIIT program can expect to find employment in machine maintenance and building maintenance, as well as areas where machinery is used to control environments and processes.
