The institution’s policies are clear concerning ownership of materials, compensation, copyright issues, and the use of revenue derived from the creation and production of all intellectual property. These policies apply to students, faculty, and staff.
Statement of Compliance: Dyersburg State Community College is in compliance with Comprehensive Standard 3.2.14.
Rationale for Judgment of Compliance:
Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) policies are clear concerning ownership of materials, compensation, copyright issues, and the use of revenue derived from the creation and production of all intellectual property. Policies exist at both the system and institutional levels [Ref 1] [Ref 2]. DSCC fosters a work/teaching environment which encourages the development and use of "state-of-the-art" instructional materials, equipment, processes, methods and/or technology that may result in materials that are useful to DSCC, so long as that development is in accordance with institutional plans and purposes.
