Dyersburg State Community College has accepted an exhibit of five paintings on permanent display by Catalan artist, Jorge Enrique Cruxent and his wife Fire, formerly Estelle Norvell, Jr. from Newbern, Tennessee. The titles of the donated works are:

Tennessee Walk, Big Wheel, Painter's Portrait, Mother Goose and Papa Gander, and Demon

Excluding Demon, an acrylic painting on canvas, these works are rendered in gouache on paper. Also on permanent display are 17 additional Cruxent works on paper, including five drawings, at the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County. This collection of pictures was created between 1974 and 1975. Jorge Cruxent designed the compositions and Fire applied their coloration.
