The INFORMATION SYSTEMS emphasis (Tennessee Transfer Pathway) is designed to provide the student with the first two years of education necessary to complete a degree in Information Systems at a four-year college or university. DSCC offers dual admission opportunities with several universities.

DSCC offers two options for students ready to begin a new career or step-up to the next level in their current field.
The Computers and information systems concentration prepares students for positions in the workplace through the use of various systems, applications, languages and products. The program consists of a common core of General Education and Business major core courses, combined with subject-specific courses designed to address skills within the concentration area.

The COMPUTER SYSTEMS OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE certificate provides a concentrated study in the skills and specialized knowledge needed to be successful in today’s workplace. This certificate is designed to qualify students for a variety of entry-level positions.
