Dyersburg State Releases Statement on Social Justice
In light of recent events over the past few months, Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) has released a statement to support its commitment to equity, inclusion and social justice.
Dyersburg State Community College has served the West Tennessee area for 50 years, and will continue a tradition that supports and nurtures learning in all aspects of life for every person who seeks an education. Faculty and staff at DSCC seek to offer the best education and student support services possible. We condemn any and all hate speech and acts against people of color. We will firmly stand by our commitment to not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, ethnicity or national origin, sex, disability, age, status as a protected veteran or any other class protected by Federal or State laws. Dyersburg State Community College is committed to being a part of the solution as we support our students in their fight against racial and social injustices.
