Student Support Services (SSS) is part of the TRIO Federal Grants through the Department of Education. SSS provides services to students that meet the following criteria: first generation college student, come from a low-income household, or have a declared disability with the college. SSS provides the following services to these students: tutoring, advising, career counseling, study skills, financial education, transfer assistance and personal counseling.
Upward Bound is a federal TRIO grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education whose goal is to offer high school students the opportunity to attend and complete college. The program provides high school students with fundamental support in academic tutoring, advising, career and social skills while providing cultural experiences and travel as well.
