How will I know if I have a Book Voucher?
FAQ Answer: Go to MyDSCC. View student account activity. The amount of the book voucher will be listed as either a VBKS Financial Aid Book Voucher or LBKS Loan Book Voucher. If you do not have access to a computer, you may contact the Student Financial Services at 731-286-3305 for this information.
I do not have my books yet. Do I still need to go to class?
FAQ Answer: Yes, every class meeting should be attended by the student in order to make satisfactory progress and pass the class. Books are available (on reserve) at the LRC for students to use until they are able to purchase their books so they can complete their assignments. You may be eligible to apply for a Book Voucher. Select the Paying for College tab then select Financial Aid Available to find out more about this Book Voucher program or contact Student Financial Services at 731-286-3305.
Can I defer my fees?
FAQ Answer:
Students enrolled for Fall or Spring semester may request deferment of up to 50% of their fee balance (after any financial aid or fee waivers are deducted). The minimum down payment of 50% of the fee balance plus the deferred plan service fee of $25 are due by the payment due dates as outlined on the Important Financial Aid and Payment Dates. The amount deferred will be payable in two monthly installments due as is outlined on the Important Financial Aid and Payment Dates. An additional late payment charge of $25 will be assessed for each installment not paid on or before the due date. For more information you may contact the One Stop at 731-286-3350.
