FAQ Answer: The Division for Nursing requires the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) at the admissions exam for all three nursing tracks. The TEAS must be taken at DSCC and the score is good for three (3) years.

FAQ Answer: Submit a written request for transfer along with a letter of recommendation from the director of the previous nursing program verifying your good standing to the Nursing Admission and Retention Committee.
Submit all official transcripts and appropriate course descriptions from the previous school of nursing. Nursing courses will be evaluated on an individual basis. Transfer admission is based upon space availability. You must also meet the same requirements as students seeking readmission. See the "Readmission and Transfer into the Nursing Program" section in the college catalog.
FAQ Answer: You may be eligible to receive funds through the Dual Enrollment Grant. This amount will vary, depending on the number of credit hours you previously took, current enrollment, the teaching format, and location.

You must pay for classes (or make financial arrangements) before the payment due date to reserve your seat in the class. You may pay your fees in person, by mail or online. Your student ID number is a unique nine digit identifier (beginning with the letter “D”) assigned to you when you apply to Dyersburg State Community College. It is highly recommended you memorize this number as you will be asked for this when conducting business with various offices around campus.

FAQ Answer: You may pay online via credit or debit card by logging into your MyDSCC account and following payment directions. See any cashier if paying with cash.
The simplest method is to pay online via debit or credit card:
At www.dscc.edu, click MyDSCC
Log in with your Username and Password.
Click on the Student Tab.
Under Registration Tools, select Payment of Fees.
Select your preferences for receiving a 1098-T.
Select the appropriate Term (Fall or Spring) and click Submit. You will then be taken to your student account activity page.
Select Make a Payment.
Enter information as requested then click Continue.
Follow payment instructions, always clicking the Continue, Next, Save or Done button before logging out.
If paying with cash, any DSCC location cashier will be able to assist you.
