Can I retest in the COMPASS or ACT? When?
FAQ Answer: Yes, you may retest the COMPASS or ACT; however, there is a waiting period of 60 days for the ACT and 90 days for the COMPASS before you can retake the test.
What is the last day to apply for the upcoming semester?
FAQ Answer: The deadline to apply for admission is found in the academic calendar; however, you are strongly encouraged to apply early so that you will have the best selection of classes. International applicants should contact the Office of Admissions at 731-286-3350.
I need to make more print copies and I have run out of my allotted amount for the semester. Can I buy more? How much are they?
FAQ Answer: Yes, you may purchase more copies at the One Stop, the Jimmy Naifeh Center or Gibson County Center at 10 cents per sheet.
How do I pay my fees?
FAQ Answer:

Once you have registered, you must make all your financial arrangements through Student Financial Services. You must pay for classes (or make financial arrangements) before the payment due date to reserve your seat in the class. You may pay your fees in person, by mail or online. How will I know if I have a Book Voucher?
FAQ Answer: Go to MyDSCC. View student account activity. The amount of the book voucher will be listed as either a VBKS Financial Aid Book Voucher or LBKS Loan Book Voucher. If you do not have access to a computer, you may contact the Student Financial Services at 731-286-3305 for this information.
I do not have my books yet. Do I still need to go to class?
FAQ Answer: Yes, every class meeting should be attended by the student in order to make satisfactory progress and pass the class. Books are available (on reserve) at the LRC for students to use until they are able to purchase their books so they can complete their assignments. You may be eligible to apply for a Book Voucher. Select the Paying for College tab then select Financial Aid Available to find out more about this Book Voucher program or contact Student Financial Services at 731-286-3305.
Can I defer my fees?
FAQ Answer:

Students enrolled for Fall or Spring semester may request deferment of up to 50% of their fee balance (after any financial aid or fee waivers are deducted). The minimum down payment of 50% of the fee balance plus the deferred plan service fee of $25 are due by the payment due dates as outlined on the Important Financial Aid and Payment Dates. The amount deferred will be payable in two monthly installments due as is outlined on the Important Financial Aid and Payment Dates. An additional late payment charge of $25 will be assessed for each installment not paid on or before the due date. For more information you may contact the One Stop at 731-286-3350.

Where do I pay my fees?
FAQ Answer: Fees can be paid in person at any of our One Stop locations in Dyersburg, Covington, or Paris. Fees can be paid online at www.dscc.edu or a check can be mailed to: DSCC Student Financial Services 1510 Lake Road Dyersburg, TN 38024. If you have any questions, call 731-286-3350.
