DSCC Division of Nursing offers an Advanced Standing LPN-RN Fast Track Nursing Program. This program is designed for students who are actively practicing as an LPN to attend while employed. Upon completion, a graduate will be equipped with the knowledge needed to assume the role of a registered nurse and succeed on the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nursing (NCLEX- RN). The Advanced Standing LPN-RN Fast Track is a one-year program that begins in May and completes in May of the following year (three semesters). This program is located on the Dyersburg campus.

Beginning with the Summer 2024 admission:
1.   MATH 1530 Introductory Statistics course will be added as a pre-requisite for admission.
2.   If an applicant has successfully completed the LPN Program at a Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) and holds a current LPN licensure, the LPN exit exam score can be used as the LPN-RN Fast Track entrance exam if the exam was taken within three (3) years of the application deadline. Review the LPN-RN Entrance Exam Guidelines below for further details.
