DSCC Division of Nursing offers an Advanced Standing LPN-RN Fast Track Nursing Program. This program is designed for students who are actively practicing as an LPN to attend while employed. Upon completion, a graduate will be equipped with the knowledge needed to assume the role of a registered nurse and succeed on the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nursing (NCLEX- RN). The Advanced Standing LPN-RN Fast Track is a one year program that begins in May and completes in May of the following year (three semesters). This program is located on the Dyersburg campus.
LPN-RN Open House - June 25, 2019
Need more information about the LPN-RN program? Join us June 25 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for an Open House event to be held on the Dyersburg campus, Dale F. Glover Education Center, Nursing Lab Room 201. During this event you will be able to tour the new nursing labs, meet with the dean of nursing and nursing faculty, and find out more details about the program.
ADMISSION EXAM CHANGE
Beginning with the admission process for Summer 2020, the LPN-RN Fast Track admission exam will be changed from the ACE to the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). If you have taken the ACE exam in the past and plan to apply for the LPN-RN Fast Track Nursing Program for 2020, you must take the TEAS exam. Nursing will no longer accept the ACE exam score for admission purposes.
