The Administrative Professionals Council (APC) at Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) plays an important role in fostering connections, collaboration, and professional growth among employees across the Dyersburg, Covington, and Paris campuses. Comprised of administrative professionals and staff members, APC provides scholarships to students, supports community organizations throughout its service area, and helps strengthen the college’s campus culture.
Throughout the year, APC organized a variety of activities and events to raise funds for the APC Scholarship and support community organizations across the service area. APC also hosted the Conference of Administrative Excellence, a day dedicated to professional development and networking for DSCC employees and community members.
The Administrative Professionals Council is proud to support student success through the APC Scholarship. The scholarship is available to full-time, degree- or certificate-seeking students who maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, with preference given to those pursuing a business degree or certificate.
To celebrate the year’s end, APC members gathered for lunch at Paris Landing State Park prior to touring the Henry County Center at E.W. Grove. The event provided members with an opportunity to connect, reflect on a successful year, and learn more about one of DSCC’s campus locations.
The Administrative Professionals Council remains committed to serving both the college and the communities of West Tennessee through leadership, service, and professional development. APC looks forward to another year of supporting student success, strengthening connections among employees, and making a positive impact across all DSCC campuses.
