Advising Appointments
You are encouraged to build a strong relationship with your assigned advisor by meeting with them regularly. DSCC believes academic advising is pivotal to the success of its students. Make an appointment with the One Stop using AppointmentPlus for academic planning and to prepare for registration of classes.
Career Counseling
Career Counseling offers students a variety of resources designed to aid them in career exploration, employment searches, and the development of skills such as resume writing and interviewing. Students can schedule an appointment via AppointmentPlus or by calling Ms. Carmen Pfeifer, counselor/career services coordinator (901-475-3137) or email pfeifer@dscc.edu.
Financial Aid
Stop by the Office of Financial Aid at any DSCC location to meet with a financial aid counselor. You may also email financialaid@dscc.edu for a virtual session or for general inquiries.
Orientation
New Student Orientation is the foundation of student success at Dyersburg State. It will help alleviate any anxiety you have by answering questions about academic expectations, support services, financial aid, student life and prepare you for a successful college experience. New student orientation can be scheduled using AppointmentPlus.
