Dr. Shawna Adams, Associate Professor of Biology at Dyersburg State Community College, is one of six West Tennessee recipients of the EmpowerEd Educator Award presented by the Leaders Education Foundation. Dr. Adams was recognized for her leadership and extraordinary contributions to education in West Tennessee.
