Dyersburg State Community College is pleased to offer a new online Supervisory Management Certificate through its Department of Workforce Development.
This short-term, non-credit program is designed for current managers or those aspiring to move into leadership roles within the West Tennessee region.
Class sessions will be held live on Zoom from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays over 10 weeks beginning April 28.
The course fee is $1,499.

The coursework focuses on high-impact supervisory management skills that can be applied immediately in professional settings across retail, office, manufacturing, nonprofit, and hospitality.
You will learn about different management styles, effective communication and feedback, goal setting, and emotional intelligence. You will also identify and develop your personal leadership style, learn how to motivate diverse workforces and make ethical business decisions, and improve your time management.
Learners will receive a certificate of completion from DSCC upon completion of the coursework.

President Paul Boyles of Paul Boyles Executive Coaching LLC, of Maryville, Tennessee, will be the instructor for the course. He has more than 35 years of progressive experience in human resources within the manufacturing, government, and hotel/casino industries. Boyles earned a B.S. degree in management at the University of Scranton.
