Dyersburg State Community College is pleased to announce updates to the Eagle Accel Program, an innovative adult-centered initiative designed specifically for busy working adults who aim to complete an Associate of Science in General Studies degree in 18 months. This program continues to provide flexibility and support for students managing multiple responsibilities.

Eagle Accel recognizes adult learners’ unique challenges and has successfully offered full sessions and seven-week courses in various formats, including in-person classes, Zoom sessions, and fully online options. This adaptability enables students to customize their education around their personal and professional commitments, facilitating the achievement of academic goals.

When asked for her perspective about the program, Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Success, Dr. Amy Johnson, stated, “The Eagle Accel Program is a wonderful opportunity for our adult students to return to school while juggling life and completing their degree in as little as 18 months.”
