    • Send an official copy of all high school and college transcripts, including military/Joint Service Transcripts (JST)  and Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to DSCC.
    • Visit JST or CCAF to order military transcripts.

4.  Complete the FAFSA.
    • This is not required but highly recommended to ensure you are awarded any aid you may be eligible for outside of your VA benefits.
    • DSCC’s school code is 006835.
5.  Apply for VA educational benefits.
6.  Request and submit your Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
    • THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATION. The VA will not pay for any registered classes without certification.
7.  Submit a copy of your DD214-Member4 or NOBE.
8.  Complete and submit all required documents located on this page (see list below).
9.  Meet with your advisor to develop a plan towards graduation and register for classes during a designated orientation day or a scheduled meeting.
    • In order for the VA to pay for classes, designate a program of study which will lead to an Associate of Arts, Science, or Applied Science degree or eligible certificate listed in the DSCC catalog.
